In July 1928, the biggest ocean-going vessel the world has ever seen - the LEVIATHAN - was launched from its giant dry-dock moored in the Irish Sea on its maiden voyage to New York. Housing twenty-eight thousand passengers and crew, complete with acres of parks, ballrooms, cinemas, a railway and even a zoo, the ship is more a floating city than cruise liner.
