1755. Captain Jack Dancer and his motley crew were one of the most infamous band of pirates preying on the Southern seas. Exiled from the home on New Providence Island, and with the British Navy declaring a death sentence on their heads, Dancer and his men, accompanied by Jack's half-brother Alex, set out on a mission below the earth to rescue Dancer's father. The quest ended in tragedy with the murder of Ginger Tom's son Jim. It is now two years later, and the band of rogues are attempting to put their brushes with the supernatural behind them, going semi-legit and running munitions and supplies to the revolutionaries that are lighting the fuse for the American War of Independence. But ancient magic is at work here too, and something very odd is about to awaken...
